And they will spend that time grinding down their troop numbers on other players. Until it becomes more manageable.
Indeed, lot of people are quitting, but Id say it is mostly ragequitting.
haha i know thats great also it shows the "best" are actually not the best could they can't adapt to the changing of the game.
I have something to say about the quitting thing. I considered it, and I still am. I know no one cares about me personally quitting, but here's the reason I considered it. You just don't change something mid-play. I might be able to understand a warning, or even let us voice our opinions, but from a handful of people complaining, they get an army of people complaining about that handful of people. I wasn't going to quit just because 'QQ Barbarians don't give me everything I need all at once whenever I need it', I was going to quit because of the very poor choices of the game developers. If one day Nike is selling some shoes for $149.99, and the next day they're selling for $49.99 because someone told them they thought it was fair, someone else is going to be upset. This doesn't cover all of this issues though. Seeing as we bigger people got to use this "Exploit" while the newer people couldn't, we got nice and big and strong, while everyone that is smaller is going to be hindered in their growth because they didn't have an equal opportunity to do what we did, and can still do.
exactly its sumthing that can still be done! you can still farm the npc's yet players till complain about how. "booohooo they made it to where the npc's gain resources like we do... Im gunna starve.. in 2 weeks... even tho my army eats over 30m food a hour" honestly if the army can still last for 2 weeks then u have waaaaay to much food stored up hence the need to cap the resources at some point. i mean come on honestly.
The game will be better as a result. Army sizes people could not even support was getting ridiculous. As for the "advanced players" who are the advanced players now?
The advanced players are the people that still have massive armies, that can utilize getting millions of food from a single attack, and spending the gold on food for the other millions of food they need for their army. In all honesty, I'd like for them to make the resources come back faster than players, and I have a feeling they might. If you put a hard cap on resources without doing anything else, you'll just lose more players.
