Here you go Spawn. Maybe this is a little better explained.

The addition of the attack button is a big step forward but there are still things about Age 2 that are concerning.

1. Facebook - I have an issue that joining another network so that you can earn rewards. I find it totally unbalanced that people who actually play the game receive less rewards than those who go on Facebook and send gifts to their friends.

2. The imbalance between spenders and non spenders - I will even include spenders who are on a budget too. This can be seen with Heroes and Hero gear. In Age 1 you could compete with someone who spent a lot of money by putting a lot of time. This kept the game in balance and I think a lot of people felt that it was a fair trade off. That has been completely eliminated in Age 2. The only way to stay competitive is to spend money, and a lot of it too.

3. Hero caps. - I see this as a huge problem once end game happens. The game will be too slow. When the only thing left to do is fight, you want to have faster build speeds. In Age 1 instant troops made the game unbalanced. Evony swung too far in the opposite direction to stop this.

So even though there is an attack button, I feel that there are other problems to be addressed before I consider Age 2 to be better than Age 1.
