Thread: Waiting for NPC Army MIx Rotation

Default Waiting for NPC Army MIx Rotation

Really, do we have to wait a week if not more for the right mix? We all want to see Cav/Sword/Rams in the NPCs just give it to us.

Because really there is not much to do in Age II, except click click on FB, if Evony makes us wait a week or more before we get the right mix to attack an unconquered NPC 12-18 this game becomes tiresome.

Build large enough army for a 14 or 16 and you have to wait sometimes weeks for the right mix. Just to maintain the army ready to go, you need to farm farm farm or spend spend spend, not really my idea of a fun in an otherwise fun game.

BTW I waited 9 days, had my NPC the right mix, I had to run an errand and missed my window... SO i wait another week or so, farming farming and spending just to keep army fed and ready...this is getting tiresome.

Note: it helps to scout 4-5 12's in the area and port to them as necessary.

They don't have to be right next to your base of cities to effectively keep them under your control.

This obviously increases your chances as you scout each one. Take one that's further away and you'll have a 12 while you build up for the one close to home.

    Just sayin'

FOr npc12 i agree but what about a 14 or 16? not much choice there. And the maintenance of an army for that is a full time job in itself... sigh...

Figure out other ways to attack it or have your alliance help you.

There are plenty of ways to go about it.

ANY combination can be taken down as long as you're willing to lose more troops.

Sword/cav/rams is the EASIEST, but it's not the only one that's doable.

My first 12 just hit sw/cav/rams this morning, so I'll be capping when I get home. 1 mile from my city cluster, no less!

I have seen attack and conquer reports for a NPC14 w/ phracts and catas you just don't want to mess with that rotation for a NPC14 and up... believe u me.

Right but it's still possible to break it...They wouldn't put use a combo like that if it was unbreakable.

So just be patient or go take another 12 somewhere instead of the 14 if you're that impatient.

I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but from the last response, i think you just don't get it. The main object of the game Age II is to capture NPCs the higher level the better.

You are not going to attack an NPC14 or 16 unless the mix is swords/cavs/rams. IF you think otherwise you are either into S/M or lack knowledge of cracking one. ITs not a matter of impatience you need roughly a couple of max mech waves and a couple mill arch to crack a 14 and double from my estimation for a 16. Now if you build up an army that size and you have feed it for a couple of weeks you will know what i mean. You need to FB click, farm and buy coins just to maintain, this is what i have a complaint with. Just wait and get another HC12 is not an answer.

just thought I'd say, don't you need to farm a lot anyway?
I've had an account that housed 6 cities, all of which were over 10m negative. That's quite a bit of farming, and that's ageI where there's no posibility of getting an HC.

    Oh I understood perfectly.

It's called "working with an alliance". I know, unthinkable that you might have to share something you can't obtain on your own (or aren't patient enough to obtain on your own). I had to wait 11 days for my level 12 to be the right combination. There was plenty for me to do while I waited. I scouted other level 12's. Some had the right combination on some days, but I had to weigh the cost/benefit of porting a city there, etc. I colonized. I built. I leveled heroes. Don't give me that.

Don't have an alliance? Get one or continue complaining about something that will never change.

Don't have an alliance, have the troops needed, but too tired of waiting on a specific NPC? Port to another NPC or get the troops/help from others needed to crack the current combination.

You are one of the few people to bring up food as being an issue in Age2 (as in not having enough/not being able to support an upkeep). I sense that your problem is that you're trying to do everything yourself. This was not the intent of the designers. Alliance coordination is being stressed more than ever in Age2.

Some people just want everything spoon-fed.
