If you meant as far as farming deleting favorites, well it auto deletes if you forget to click favorite when you exit the march chart , because it only temporary store those setting. that temporary settings helps when you want to double check to make sure you are hitting the right npc without re-entering those numbers of ballistas and transport.

Now in the other hand, if you are reffering to the city located in the left side of the favorite chart..
That is meant to make ur transport easier. I have never been able to delete it and wouldn't want to any way.

I am sure everyone knows how those city work so i won't even start it..

Using the same method for different thing, such mass scouting.

Do you ever scout vallies or white/gray cities which you were on planning farmming?

Well, the above method using the favorite works well for that too.

Just set the number of scout and send with hero or no, click favorites and exit.
    wash rinse and repeat.

You can also use this method to medal hunt on vallies, one of my favorite thing to do.. it's like a box of chocolate, in this case evolate (priceless and tasteless chocolate).
You never know what's you gonna get.

Well I use a mouse/keyboard recorder for mine. I have preset troops I send to NPC5s and NPC10s and I can be bothered clicking the mouse and enter the troops over and over again. Evony really need to have something where you can set favourite troop combinations and click a button once to populate the troops with them. Right now I have a macro that will create my standard NPC10 hit and standard NPC5 hit. All I do is click the NPC and press one key and I have the correct troop count every time to send out

    Erm... erm... what?

I go into the attack window, set my ballistae/transporters and a hero, then I put in coords, press ok, hero, next coords, press ok. The coordinates come from an excel spreadsheet which I tab to and from. Well, to be honest... I remember the first 30 or so coords for each city at this point. I can send out 10 attack so darn quick that the idea of ever going into map view and trying to move would unquestionably be 5-30x slower. I don't see how using map view so you can click an NPC could EVER be quicker than my method. I agree though that the quicker you go, if in an ergonomically unsound and poor-temperate environment... it would be easy to get an RSI.

So... thanks for the tip, but I'll stick with my quicker more normal method.

Almost every game i played as far as strategy goes, have a setablle function and hot keys. You can store your favorite combo and store them from # 1 to 9 and i believe evony might have that idea in mind, but something happen i guess.

i missed those hot keys, and i remember those macros.. Loved to spammed designed with them on the chat.

Basically that is what i did with my farming method, it is as close to having a preset combo without using macro keys, but with just 1 or 2 steps more.

Amazing how you can remember all those coords. i suck bad at remembering series of numbers..
I however can send 1 wave every 2.5 second sometimes 3.. depending on rythem, npc location and lag.The first wave usually takes the longest because you need to insert those number first, since the favorite only stores those settings as temporary..

From here on, all i do is click npc, select hero, send and fav, repeat, reapet, repeat and soo on.
Once you get that rythem going you can send it probably faster than i can.

Everyone has their version, i like mine best because i have it wired soo well that sending those farmers is not the issue, its waiting for them to return.

I can remember ridiculous numbers... even stuff like the speed of light in mph to three decimal places, which I last read 17 years ago... but I can't tell you the name of someone who introduced himself to me 10 minutes ago. :|

I'd say our methods are about equally matched, from your speed estimate. Perhaps if I had a real computer, I'd try your method. As it is... map view is barely usable on my machine, and frequently locks up the browser for 10-30 seconds after 20 seconds of moving around (512Mb of 70ns SDRAM). One of our members takes a minute per move in map view. grrr. It was better before they changed the way map view worked.

ouch.....my older computer does the same.. I cant remember names of people that i met 10 mins ago aswel.. Strange, but i remeber things with rhythm and hand motion asisted instruction.. weird i have to say.
    I know what you mean.
Newer pc is great, i stopped by my friend not long ago and he is about 5 second per npc only because he cant get the rhythm. Give him time and he could rip that farming much quicker.

Havent seen you around in a long while Jerboa.
    Good to see you again.

I've been around, as my post count would indicate, but my 83-member alliance got declared on by 513 enemies, so I had to sit in-game 20 hours a day to advise on the 3,500 attacks per day we were facing. Its dropped off now as most of our server, including my alliance, is realizing our server isn't going anywhere but to further stagnation. So... I'll be in the forums more from hereonin... as well as enjoying more real life. I figured I'd also get back in the gym too so I can challenge you to an arm wrestle one day. lolz
