Except that using that process has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on efficiency. It may be smarter from the standpoint of having good star levels all the time, but it isn't going to make the cost of the process any cheaper in terms of total gems used. And I am exactly clear on the fact that you don't use any mathematical formulas. In fact, that is precisely what is the problem. Experience can vary widely from player to player, which is also why it is an unreliable indicator.
