Yes... I remember... I once was innocent.


Young, naive... out of childhood but still in many ways, a child...

But... but...

My innocence was lost. Taken from me. Almost without my noticing, until it was too late... too late...

She was nearly twice my age. And I drowned. Drowned in the liquid green of her eyes.
I knew not what to expect, what to do... The soft caresses of silk sheets and floral perfume made me lose all sense of time and space, till two beings became one in eternity...
Afterwards, I cried gently in her arms. And she made promises... promises...

Alas... alas... I soon learned promises made in the throes of love soon whither in the harsh sunlight of the mundane... Oh! The cruelty! Oh! The illusions!! Be that my heart never reaches such cold black depths again...
