Perhaps that attitude comes form a different point of view. I see Moderators as a class below normal members while others see Moderators as a class above.
That's a pretty interesting view actually, what makes you consider moderators below normal members?

As I have been around for a while and seen mods come and go, I know most of the current mods and reps pretty well and even count some as my friends.
It's a job that can isolate mods somewhat, so I like threads that draw them out a bit and get them back into the conversation and having fun.
Provided they don't post in violation of the rules then moderators can have as much fun as they like . Though I do remember the original, first set of mods.

Hero worship? No, I don't think there is much of that going on. It's just a bit of fun. If you knew my history on these boards, then you might understand where I'm coming from.
My post wasn't actually directed at you, it was just from the fact that i've noticed these mod threads and wondered why moderators seemed to be looked up to like Gods when like the rest of us it's just another human behind the username.
