Oh BTW im boicoting the new movie "Vampires Suck", It offends me on so many levels.
It offends you because you love Twilight, right? Good. It should offend everyone who loves that abomination of literature and cinema. Vampires are not supposed to be whatever exactly it is Twilight depicts them as. And I don't think it's even remotely clear what they're depicted as. Same for the werewolves. Vampires are supposed to be badass. He's supposed to be some grim creature looking down on a poor unsuspecting village from his massive castle like all the villagers are his herd of cattle, as he grips a glass of wine in one claw-like hand, and the various women he's entranced fawn around him. And once he's finished with those women, he goes down to the afore-mentioned village and tears the throats out of fifty villagers, a few because he's hungry, the rest because he FELT LIKE IT.

That, my friends, is what a vampire should be. And werewolves should be equally badass.

The popularity of Twilight glitter-vamps and glitter-wolves makes me want to...

Our society is doomed. I'm glad I have no children who would have to live in the impending horrorscape.

Makes you want to? I do it all the time someone mentions it, it gets awkward....jk...

Rofl, I really undermined the average twilight fan's intelligence after all this crap.
Lucky for me my favorite science teacher makes fun of them who speak up, they get pwned Seriously he goes far. He shuts them up. Just like that.

In all fairness, a great thing about artistic expression and freedom to have artistic expression in this world is that a writer can portray a character however they wish. Although many of us disagree with a vampire that my 6yr old daughter can kick the ass of, it is none the less, someones expression. Sad as it may be we must except that we are becoming old and the world is changing. I am sure this is the type of outrage there was when our parents stopped listening to Polka and Country and started listening to Rock and Roll. Sparkles seem to have the same effect on women of all ages.

If even the thought of a feminine vampire didn't make me gag I might actually watch Twilight, although I doubt I ever will. Just like the movie Titanic, Twilight will be a movie that I never go near and avoid with every fiber of my being. I have no doubts that by the time my daughter is a teen movies will have feminine jack the rippers who are romantic and sparkly, maybe a Son of Sam musical comedy or a Ted Bundy sitcom.

There is deeper meaning to a vampire being evil and sucking the life out of people. By making a vampire sparkle and feminine they have made the vampire a 2 dimensional character without any meaning or myth.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!
