I would definitely use it for selfish purposes at first. I would use it to better my position in life, and make myself financially comfortable enough to be able to pursue something beyond the "survival" needs of most of us wage slaves. Once I had no need to worry about "bills" I could put in the time and effort for more noble pursuits. I think I could really make the world a better place, if I had been born in a higher tax bracket.
