Same here, Facebook. I stopped using chat programs after ICQ, but I do use Skype for moderating here and nothing else (no IRL people on it).

I find things like Facebook excellent for those of my friends who live extremely far away, or are always changing their numbers for one reason or another, etc. It's easy to be like "hey, I'm having a bbq, send me your address" or see how they are doing half way across the world. One of my best friends for 15 years moved away and I couldn't find them until Facebook. Now we see each other twice a year.

I do have my own blog but I don't publish it (no it's not under AbstractAngel) so it's more my own personal collection with easy referencing.

Anything else is kinda meh. I don't really use anything because I don't see a point. If I know you and want to talk to you, I'll call or you will. We will go out, or make plans to attend a concert or party together. I don't need to ask you how your day was seven different ways when I could be out doing things. *pant pant pant*
