Thread: Trucing before a suppression battle

Default Trucing before a suppression battle

I was unaware until today that someone could truce after being colonized before a suppression battle took place with enemy troops in the city. My mistake was not to recall since I could not reinforce as planned or scout. But the other player was reinforced and he probably truced right after they landed.

Seems to me that if a truce is called then the battle should not take place. In age 1 if you were marching on a city and someone truced the attack would still occur. Here if you are marching the troops return when someone truces because I can only colonize and not attack.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has an opinion on this.

thanks for the input...it is interesting...I've never used a truce in age 2 and haven't seen this done before.
