Although all of you have a point, you all also said "deal with it". For the host of the alliance named "imperial", the host of Imperial should have sent a message saying "Are you an affiliate of Imperial, are you against Imperial, etc" but they didn't. What I forgot to mention is that there was another alliance which in their intro they say that it's related to Imperial named imperiel. However, that isn't the case. Just declaring on an alliance because it has a name similar to yours is not a good idea.
How about, several of the top alliances (not Imperial) declare war on an alliance in the mid 1000s with 1 member. That should NOT be normal everyday activity.
To stop alliances from getting picked on based on their names. I can understand if the small alliance declares first, but because of a NAME?!?! That's ridiculous.I don't see what posting a thread about this accomplishes.
First. Many people who make alliances with similar names DON't EVEN KNOW there's another alliance with the same name who might be angry.
Secondly. Taking up possible names?!?!?! Ask the player to choose another name and also offer them an invite to their alliance or a sister alliance if it comes up. Besides, Imperial's sisters are 70-80% Legio and there's another called Scholae (not sure if it has anything to do with Dr. Scholl's)
