I don't know anyone who has capped it yet. So it is new territory for all of us. I certainly hope 16's are not needed because I do not plan to cap any other historicals. But how would anyone know that 16's are needed unless they capped 0,0 before? Just askin. Not attacking you. Just pointing out that nobody can really say because nobody is an Atlantis expert at this point.
Atlantis dropped on NA9.... I believe that 16s were part of the strategy.

I still wouldn't recommend this guide, and that is simply my humble opinion on the matter. There are many things like keeping gates closed, the 18 farms, etc that I feel severely slow the growth of a new person. I also don't like advising people to just sit down and let themselves get colonized. And not training troops until you have level 9 barracks?

You also have a huge fascination with warriors, which are the weakest unit in the game and are useless except to kill off for experience and prestige (which is useless). I suppose this thread helps me understand why you've posted other things in other places about warriors and such that exhibit that you have little understanding of how worthless warriors are :/

If you want me to offer you advice on a guide in private, I can do that. But until I have more of a reputation on these forums, I do not feel it is my place to make any guides for the mass public.
Hey Warbuck bro, we are all humans my man. Your brain is just as sharp as anyones. Who says that it is not your place to write guides? If people felt they needed "reputation" in order to contribute to a knowledgebase or help others then Wikis would not exist. And who says that only 5 forum members can write guides? Most of the guides I see come from 5 players:
    Spawn
    Woldere
    Asamo
    Satan
...and some other member I forgot.
It's like, if one of them did not write it then nobody will respect it. That is just plain wrong. In fact, I would ENCOURAGE you to write your own guide on whatever you want to. Heck, let's work on the overview together. We have firsthand experience because you and I are not really Age I players. We are strictly Age II players and have a perspective on things that players who came from Age I do not.

yeah i did read that a moment ago, posted there too. apparently the evony team decided to pick on the KHANS alliance for doing too well.
(the evony team being those who have power over the game and rewrite cod, not the mods who are in the forum, and yes i am aware of the consequences of this post, and a thought is a thought)

Ha!!! Fantastic, now we have to compete with the people who wrote the game.... lol, wow...
So player Domi now owns Atlantis on Na9. Alliance FEAR. Ranked #14 with only 26 members. Domi has 6.6 mil pres. I wonder how long they will be able to hold it?

Probably until evony decides that they have an unfair advantage and NPCs it on them.....

I don't mind the city layout your giving ppl if they are noobs cause then they won't have to worry about farming.

I don't mind leaving out the farming because there are so many guides to that.

You lightly touched upon it but i think you should emphasize too new players that getting a steady stream of resources early is paramount to setting yourself up to succeed.

Also i think hitting lvl 1-5npcs with ballistae is much better for new players than the 6-9 with warrioirs that you recommend.

The biggest issue I have with the guide is where you say "Get to Duke". This is extremely hard for 99% of new players. I figure if a player can get to duke by getting help from alliance mates and reading the forum, i would no longer consider them a noob in most cases.

The number one thing I would tell a new a totally new age II is that if you don't plan on spending money its probably gonna take you more than one server to figure it out.

You are trying to talk about Ballistas and farming in your previous post and saying that 18 farms is not needed. This is an overview for new players. They have no concept of farming. Farming and ballistas are for AFTER you get your cities built up and need to level up heros and farm for food. Far too advanced for new players. Baby steps my friend, baby steps. Not information overload. New players need simple, plain, vanilla cities that that give them almost everything they need without the need to farm. They can reference other guides for more advance game play like making iron/wood cities, leveling up heros, farming, medal hunting, etc....
Again, what I explained is just fine.
farming isnt to advanced for new players, its actually simple and farming is one of the most important things in evony so noobs should learn how to do that as quickly as possible

Good points. Emphasize farming and perhaps telling them to shoot for Duke is too high.

Then I will highlight the importance of farming and strongly recommend new players to check out farming guides.
