I would like to call shenanigans on half the "extreme" votes. I made this poll private instead of public for a reason; so noone would see what you voted. There was no need to vote extreme to impress people, because we can't see what you voted. I think half of those extreme votes belong in easy or medium. I do not believe for a second, that the majority of votes would be extreme if everyone voted honestly.

What difficulty do you like playing video games at?

Extreme
You need a real challenge. When you get to a hard part, you want to spend hours banging your head against a wall. You want to die repeatedly as you progress a little further into the level each time. You figure out each nuance of the stage that is required to survive. You don't do this for the sadistic pain of hours of frustration. You do it for the elation of that eventual "perfect run" after you have figured out every twist and corner of the level. Hours of pain lead to that perfect moment of joy that feeds your soul.

Hard
You need a challenge for your skills. You don't want to kill yourself by dying to the easy parts, but you like it when the bosses take a few attempts to kill. You get satisfaction from defeating the game at that next level

Normal
You play the game as it is meant to be.

Easy
Let's face it, you're a wuss. You might as well go watch a movie, with the ease you cruise through the game. You're practically just a spectator watching the game unfold before you.

It depends a lot on the games at times, too. There's some games I can play at the hardest difficulty with ease, because its a play style right down my alley, and other games give me a hard time even at easy.

I can play some songs set at extreme on guitar hero ..

mainly its just set on hard.. then no one else but me gets to use that guitar lol
