Not sure if it is lack of coding ability or lack of analysis, but it isnt abuse by players...in most cases...i believe i have heard "that isnt a bug it is a feature"...well if you can say that...how are we suppose to know which are and arent...some things are obviously bugs i will concede this...but most aren't...if your using that wide brush Nathan.

Its easy to see if within Evony rules which are posted in this forum, how is it exploiting a bug if we dont know what was intended or not intended, and as i said before if Evony restored drafting fully once it is because they didnt see it as a bug or exploit, they seen a need to change it to level the playing field, but it wasnt about abuse of a exploit.
Yes this is very true, drafting lower HC's from higher ones was not breaking any rules and was just another functionality of the drafting policies that came with taking over a higher level HC (making them worth more like they should). In one of my favorite companies, Blizzard Entertainment, they constantly have devs and reps tending to battle.net forums and different events (or even wikis!) where they input their own advice and help players out a lot. They understand how their games work and have even proposed different strategies or argued about different playstyles which demonstrates a level of understanding about their own game. I'm not belittling Evony or making a direct comparison but rather trying to highlight how Blizzard manages its own games and still creates balanced games (Starcraft and Warcraft are very much balanced maybe not 100% but very close to it, and I'd love to debate anyone who doesn't think so since I've played those games for many years now). I can use this company because they have released patches over times that have made changes to their games, have to deal with public and private hacking attempts, and a huge server (that can lag) to handle all the players that log on (which has been large over their timespan as a company).

I really just want a reversal of this recent change or at least bring back the drafting of unowned historical cities by higher ones (keep it at 5%, that's fine with me at least make it worth more than using a 12 to draft a 10).
