I would have answered this for you. I am doubtful anyone else will. If you can accept the fact that I am no longer an employee of Evony and have no right to speak on their behalf, I\'ll answer anyways.
Ignoring the irony of this question in my particular situation, I think you will find that 1 month from now, the focus would be on game stability. Reducing lag, fixing bugs, closing exploits. 3 months would be aimed at adding a new feature or two that the community have asked for and cleaning up existing features. Perhaps some minor balancing. 6 months would involve bigger things, I would say.Where does the Evony staff team see themselves in 1,3,6 months from now?
To AgeI? No. I don\'t think so. The players made themselves very clear when they said they liked Age I the way it was. AgeII is open to a lot of different changes. It\'s very much a matter of the devs and designers being open and responsive to player feedback at the moment. I wouldn\'t say that much of anything was impossible in Age II.Can the evony community expect to see any major sweeping changes over this time. Such as new units? New buildings? New Techs?
But they aren\'t the same, are they? They lack the community this one has, and no matter how similar they try to be, there is not quite the same feel to the other games. I know a lot of people like to throw a lot of negativity around and complain about the game, but the reality is that you don\'t get this many players (long-term players, at that) unless you are doing something right. Evony picked up a nice mix of building-sim with bloodthirst, and it mixed social/diplomacy in with storming the castle. It\'s a simple game, but if you really want to succeed you need to do the math and learn the tactics, and you will find the underpinning can be terribly complex. I like the complexity. I get bored planting super berries every 2 hours, ya know?If someone where to over hear you talking bout evony at a coffee shop. Not enough to hear that you are a Dev. But enough to hear the Evony name. They came up to you and asked. \"Why do you play Evony over any of the other games that are virtually the same that are on places like Facebook or just other browser based war games?\"
Death by Chocolate, from Turkey Hill. Need I say more?what is your favorite ice cream?
Old enough to know better! How old are you?
There\'s a list: Watching my kids grow up, winning the lottery, buying my house and remodeling it, getting a great new job, Ewan McGregor, gardening, cooking, and how to get my lvl 57 character to lvl 60 when I\'ve run out of quests. What do you dream a bout when you go off into your own fantasy land in your mind?
312How many licks does it take to get to the center of a loli pop?
I\'m going to decline to answer this one.Customer service and communication is rated very high amongst gamers to know what is going on in the games they play. Does the Evony staff feel they update their community effectively? Is there anything that the Devs feel they can do better in this area?
I want to thank you all for your support and for just being you. You are the most entertaining group of gamers I\'ve encountered in a long time and there are some people I\'ve met here that will be lifelong friends. I know that sometimes things are discouraging or you get frustrated, and I understand that. But there is a community here and it is amazing. I don\'t just mean the players...I refer to the people behind the scenes here at Evony as well. If you knew the level of dedication and enthusiasm that quite a few of them have, and how determined they are to make a really good game, then you\'d be a lot more forgiving of the mistakes. There is a genuinely serious effort being put forth by some really talented people. Is there anything you wish to add or say to the members of the Evony Community?
