I'm further up the server chain so 200K archers hasn't shown up yet but 20 vs 2 or 200 vs 20 works out the same. They both have the same problem. No risk vs reward, no consequence, 0 liability. While war games are fine, 0 liability, 0 risk makes it less about war, more about bloodshed.

Having 500K armies is all well and good. China has what? A 500 million man standing army? What stops them from obliterating neighbors like Nepal? Ethic and consequence, Responsibility? If they want a video game that's about all these things, there also needs to be an element of despotism and liability. Act like a tyrant and you get treated like a tyrant. Global atrocity count down, sending out a beacon to everyone in your state the location of all your cities.
