I drafted 10000 archers from a 100k archer city with gates closed from a 12, but only got 2 archers as its Suzerain. The player was inactive for weeks.
    What I understood was:

He is talking about the same city being drafted from, just the location of the origin of the draft was changed. The 10% draft was obtained by drafting the non-historic player's city by the Historic, but the reduced draft came from it being one of his colonies through a regular city. The "inactive for weeks" statement was only provided to indicate that the player being drafted would not have been shuffling troops around to avoid being drafted.

Summary: Drafting of non-historic cities (colonies) by non-historic player's cities (Suzerains) would seem to be bugged.

Prior to me giving up on Age II, I had a colony that the same thing happened with... I remember it showing a similar list as to what Gringo posted on page 4 of this thread, but when I tried to draft, it was only a single-digit amount of anything drafted, though it should've been more than that...

I really want this fixed! I've colonized alot of cities that have a good amount of troops in each and it wont draft from them at all!!!, When i first started back a few months ago, I was colonized and I was getting drafted 10% everyday.. So why can I not draft 10% everyday?

This is certainly not true. Someone has colonized me and regularly drafts 10% of my troops on one of my servers and on another I have colonized someone and regularly draft 10% of his troops. None of the cities involved are historic.

If there is some bug with the refugee camp, then it would pretty much only happen when drafting from inactive players because active players won't often go below 0 food.

Thus my question, is this only happening with inactive players? If it is happening with active players can you replicate the bug with another player? Replication is the key to bug fixing.

It is definitely happening with inactive players, and it definitely can be replicated. Perhaps someone can look into it?

I can't replicate anything with Age II now, as I have given up on Age II.

That said, the player that it happened to me with I believe was indeed inactive.

However, Scythe indicated that a draft of the same city by a historic city yielded a 10% draft, so if this is relayed as a bug, testing from a historic city needs to be performed as well to make sure that a bug isn't introduced by any changes made to address the non-Historic issue.

It doesn't have to be a colony with 0 food either. I have several colonies that have positive food, and have troops in the city, but when I draft I get nothing, or 1 archer, or 2 cav etc...

For the record though I do believe those colonies are inactive. So it more than likely is related to being inactive.

I would say yes, I have dozens of colonies with 0 food drafting zip with giga numbers inside (gate was closed). The active ones with food draft normal when its giga.

Good point, might relate to not loging into their accounts for a long time as well.
