    Default HC Troop drafting

does anyone know how Evony works out the strongest troop unit when drafting?
a member recently had 4.8K archers drafted from a city when he had 88K Archers and 400K warriors there. The archers were deemed the stronger unit it seems
He experimented and only lost 25K warriors after adjusting the numbers of troops to 84K arch 500K warriors.

So how does Evony calculate which is the strongest unit? Tried looking at multiplying the number of troops by the attack value for that unit..but that does not work.

    Anyone?

No it calculates off the value of the unit (I'm thinking resource wise)

    Hey Killerwave7,
Thanks for the response but i don't really understand what your saying.
Each unit costs multiple resources (food / lumber / stone / iron) how would that work? Are you saying the resource cost of training each unit of troops is calculated?

yea so multiply the resource cost and possibly add them or something, i mean there could be some weird complications that are involved here, if its a tied value I think it just randomly picks between the 2, but that's what I've noticed from my experimentation, it just picks the group worth the most value in terms of total resource.

Edit Addition: Try using your example posted in your first post and see if this works, 100k warriors sounds like it would make that difference in terms of resource

I have this same question and would just like to hear from more people (or an official person) about how this works.

    Thank you.
