    Are we talking about American in the Sense of being born in it, living in it, or just another embodiment of the American Spirit.

    I live in America, I was born in America, I am a teenager and can be considered rebellious, so I embody a part of the American ideals and spirit.

    But lets say that you are proud of your heritage, say Italian, and they live in the Bronx. They were born in the Bronx and lived their entire life in the Bronx, but call themselves italian. Does that make them wrong?
