You have three guesses. The first two don't count.

The second. The spikyness is good.

If you so have naturally curly hair though, keep in mind that you will be straightening it, applying mousse, hairspray and wax to get it to stay like that for any amount of time. Although having it short does make all that better, as it doesn't take long, and usually the hair is a bit straighter closer to the root.

I also reccommend choppy side bangs with that cut. But wax and a straightener will be required I'm afraid.

Also, make sure you get layers, as many as you can with that cut. It I'll make the spikeyness better.

    Hope that helped....

Well I'd have to say a mohawk, but I've always had a thing for them, plus chicks that can pull them off just look freaking sexy (IMO).

But with your hair type it will be a lot of work, you'll need a good straightener, a blowdryer, and hairspray. I have straight hair so when I had mine (had a bihawk for a year, and a mohawk for five years) I didn't need the straightener, but because I have thick hair (and I was pretty rough on it) I needed the extra strength hairspray.

I know you prolly won't go for the mohawk, but I figure it would be worth a shot.

lol pirate. i work at a conservative office. my emo friend has to take out his lip rings and wear dockers and ties to work. and they are constantly on him about his hair.
i work where old ppl and little children will see me alot and need to feel comfortable with the fact that i'm the one that is going to be helping them with whatever.
so mohawks are off the list even if i would consider getting one. i can play on the edge of steam-punk/ emo hair, but not that far in.
lol thanks for the suggestion though i really appreciate every ones input.

i also found this one that looks like the dirction i'm wanting to go but i'll probably end up more

along these lines. both will take the same amount of work from me in the end

I know the bed-head spikey look is cool right now. But, history is full of bad hair styles that enjoy popularity. In the following decades, people look back at wearing those styles and have great regrets. The hot new style of spikey, bed-head hair is yet another one of these. Don't do it, Imnot. There's no need to make sure you have a life with those regrets.

P.S. The new version of the 70's flop-mop is another one of those styles.

    Too add:

Don't dye your hair too dark/black. If you already have dark natural hair, the either leave it or consider dying it a few shades lighter. Natural dark brown or black will always look better than dyed brown or black, whereas lighter dyed hair tends too look a bit better.

I'm not really sure if you are planning on getting it dyed anyways though....O.o

Anyways, I on the other hand DO recommend the bedhead look, unlike Rota. Personally, I can pull off the beadhead within five minutes after wetting it. A bit of mousse and hairspray, ta da! althoguh If you're curly that poses a bit of an issue...
