For a definitive view of human nature, look upon a battlefield and its horrors. The grass fields are saturated with blood as dismembered limbs lie scattered on the ground and intestines lie strewn across the bare faced and scarred ground. In the distance, the painful shrieks and agonizing cries of the wounded can be heard in the distance. Mangled and twisted bodies lie on the ground with looks of horror and terror forever etched onto the faces of those who were slain in the terrible and pointless conflict. The wounded writhe in agony as they die amidst the towering flames. The putrid stench of burnt and charred flesh fills the air and the carrions circle above impatiently waiting to devour the flesh of the dead. This grotesque and foul scene is an accurate display of humanity's barbarity and perversion.

This is humanity in its truest form: humanity's hubris, avarice and corruption are the causes of all the woes that inflict the species. Humanity's path to its self-destruction or self-annihilation is inexorable.
