I can't argue with that.

I can't say that even I am totally above some standard in the "looks" department. I can say that my standard is not based on what society says is "pretty." Rather, I have a personal preference or two about physical appearance, based on logical needs. They are minor preferences I have been willing to ignore, but they exist.

He's not an exception to the rule.
I'm not going to spend a dozen posts arguing with yet another person who thinks they break my rule. There is something about your friend that proves my equation, and I don't feel like playing detective to find it. Until I see just ONE example to prove me wrong in real life, I'll trust my equation is true. I haven't seen an exception in over 30 years... and I'm never going to see one.

I have a few preferences also. Although I have more preferences for my personal appearance than what I like to see in others. I think generally most people are that way. Not nessiscarily though.

I was making that toward the post about how women don't go after men just because of looks. That's basically he's got when you meet him.

The reasons I don't have a girlfriend is she must have a hot body, good sense of humor, a bit of a nerd, adventurous, intelligent, put up with me, not care about how much I like rum, and not be full of herself.

Oh wait, I do have a girlfriend and she's all of those things and more
