Default Guess what! Not being able to access my account is Yahoo's fault

For well over a week, I have been unable to access my account because of the damm incorrect account or password and no solution is in sight. I just found out today that despite the fact that it was Evony that changed the login system and despite Evony not notifying us not to use Yahoo/Hotmail accounts and despite Evony not being able to have an alternate way to send me my password or manually set it, that it is actually YAHOO'S fault since they don't accept UMGE mail.

I expect to hear soon that the lag/network connection errors are Explorer and Firefox's fault.

Do you know why Yahoo and Hotmail don't accept UMGE's mail?? It's because both have determined that UMGE is a "Problem" company...one who either is guilty (on a HIGH volume) of spamming email addresses, or has received numerous complaints.

Since UMGE is associated with *******, yeah...there's your answer.

That conclusion was arrived at incorrectly, based largely on the fact that mails originate in Asia. We have since corrected the problem with Hotmail and are working on doing the same with Yahoo. Its not a quick process, but we're obviously getting there.

We're not "blaming" Yahoo for the problem. We're working with them to get it fixed.

Which completely misses the point. The problem is that YOUR programming got me locked out to begin with and now more than a week into not being able to access my account, I am still locked out. Manually set it and give it to me via this sites PM or something. Of course, by the time I get back on to Server 3 (if that ever happens), my cities will be farmed into oblivion or wiped out since I haven't logged in for almost 2 weeks now.

Of course the $20 I spent on that server including the worthless advanced teleporter that was ineffective due to the OTHER bug is now gone forever so 16 hours 45 minutes before I start the process with Paypal UNLESS Evony gives me a satisfactory alternative.

Oh, and spending more $ on this game?

Welcome to Evony. You come up with a valid problem, and then the devs MIGHT send you a message about dealing with it in such and such way and will be fixed soon. Then weeks later, nothing gets changed. I had the E-mail problem too, but it was with my forum account. Had to guess my login information. I'm glad that you've decided not to spend anymore money. Maybe, once enough people stop spending (or donating due to the disapearing coin's/item's bug) then MAYBE the game will resemble something that works.

I get mail from Asia several times a day. What on earth would make you think that his problems are due to that? Hotmail and Yahoo *ARE* capable of receiving mail from other continents.
Warning - Preceding message may contain high levels of sarcasm.

The wife is reporting problems with Yahoo on a different level and I know the latest upgrade of Firefox crashes more often, so it may well be true.
