You're totally right. Evony are big Nazis on their own forum. That one guy that kicked me out of his house for wearing muddy shoes on his white carpet was a huge Nazi too. The nerve, I say.

and trolls are trolls, they are defined amongst the internet community as such:

One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.

The real reason I would give to as why I made that statement would be quickly deleted and thrown down into the Evony basement where nobody will ever see it again, keeping Evony's reputation intact, somewhat.

So a few other things. This is your forum as far as Evony pays for it(I think Foxy stated you pay for the use), with money from the paying customers who post here(Mostly, except for the majority of ot posters.)

The Nazi's use to take control everything under the power of one person who had a gigantic iron fist(I'm not saying names, for the example, nor who I'm referring too, out of respect to certain people. The Evony boards are just like WWII Germany, a small group somehow gained power and changes everything, even if it is to the dismay of the majority of the people.(Not getting into details, again, out of respect.) They think they run it, when most of them are just pawns on the board. (Moderators...) So yes, in some way your way of running these boards can be related to those of the Nazi's. But not in all ways, which is why I didn't just say you were point blank Nazi's.

I'm not so sure that's true about Nazi Germany. I always got the impression that decision-making in the Nazi organization was rather complex, byzantine and obtuse. I don't think that Hitler made all the decisions.

The problem is, Evony didn't take anything over. They created a game, and optionally added a message board for the community. The message board is a privilege. Unlike living under a country government (for the most part), being a member of the Evony game or message board is entirely optional and is not forced. People don't have to come here. They do so voluntarily, and can just as easily leave. And yes, the board is owned by Evony, and most likely paid for through transactions between Evony and its players. If that is true, an easy way to be free of the oppressiveness of the Evony game and forums is to stop giving them money in order to keep them online.

Though yes, I will agree, Evony has made changes that the majority don't necessarily like. That's the way things go sometimes. I don't like how, in the local supermarket, food containers are getting smaller, more full of air than food, and yet are rising in prices. I don't like how the local television companies change their show lineups once I'm adapted to them. Perhaps I don't like the way my employee arranges things in the house he pays for with the paychecks I give him. I don't see how any of this would constitute them being Nazis. But perhaps we'll have to agree to disagree on this.

Hitler was not called a dictator for nothing...

Democracy is power to the people, all people in group. Te Nazi's were a very small percentage(Look it up, I can't remember) of the population, sort of like the Mod's are here. Hitler came to power through corrupt ways(More corrupt then typical politics...) so the type of democracy was thrown out the window.

Sorry if this is too touchy on the rules(SymboIron lol) but people actually provided good counter-arguments, for once.

What you describe is true of any democracy at any time.

Anyone who disagreed with him was executed for example field marshal erwin rommel was killed by hitler. Rommel was given the choice drink the poison and you will be given a state funeral and we wont kill ur family or face the people's court(which was controled by hitler) So rommel took the poison.
