In my job, I have nearly been killed several times. Like the time I got 600 volts across my body, with another 600 volt conduit less then half a foot away.. Or the time a 200 pound piece of ductwork fell and landed right where I'd been walking. Or the time I was removing steel I-Beams from a roof and almost got dragged off by one catching on my work glove.

My boss almost lost his leg while sawing a floor. One of my coworkers almost lost an arm because a reciprocating saw kicked off of what another coworker was sawing and landed on his shoulder while it was still running. Another of my coworkers had a mirror explode in their face. Yet another has been electrocuted so many times that its a wonder he doesn't glow.
