I never said that it wasn't possible. I just said I don't think it works on THIS version.

It does work, but the admins have not enabled the ability to embed video. When they set permissions for members, they simply did not check the box to "allow video embedding."

Damn! You're right! I just realized the one I know of that has it enabled is v. 3.6.4 and this one is v. 3.8.4
