In my opinion, losing is fun, at times. I find it kind of hilarious in games how people can lose. It can be fun to watch how you fall. One game where the motto of the game is literally "Losing is Fun!", it's fun to watch everyone go crazy because of some unknown reason and kill each other. It was hilarious when an alliance member of mine got attacked with over 200k archers. Of course I helped, but it was still fun to see the overkill in the report.

Losing is also important games because if someone used a strategy you never seen before, you probably learn how to counter it the next time it happens. Also, if you never lost before, and you believe you're the best at the game, you will probably do nothing to improve your army. Next thing you know, you got a guy who now has your city because you thought you had enough troops. So yes, losing is important.
