I understand your frustration. I play on SS50. There are people breaking the TOS rules all around, even in my own alliance. What makes it worse is that they do it blatantly and talk about it openly in alliance chat as well as world chat. SS50 is corrupt with botters, multi-accounters, and HACKERS. Yes thats right, HACKERS. As if botting or multi-accounting was not enough, several people have started to hack into the game. One player in my alliance (lord name is Maq), has figured out the glitches in the code of the game, and has used the errors to manipulate gameplay (I will get into details shortly) Anyone who understands a thing about computer code knows how amazingly simple Evony is coded. Several players (including Maq) have managed to figure out the glitches in the game, and use it to gain the following advantages.
1) One glitch enables the "hacker" to enter any alliance without an invitation or application. This is often done to spy on an enemy. (Keep eyes on events section to monitor for possible spies who may have infiltrated your alliance by using this feature.)
2) Hero's attack/politics/intelligence can be upgraded much faster by using a glitch in code which can be manipulated to LOWER the experience points neccessary to upgrade hero. (i.e. a level 51 hero who would ordinarily need 260k exp. points to upgrade to next level, would now need only 26k to upgrade by using this feature). As a result I have seen a level630 hero with 703 attack jump to level 697 with 770 attack in just one day.
3) Hackers are able to search your name and find the cords of your cities.
4) Hackers can see the in-game whispers of their desired player.
5) Hackers have the ability to increase the amount of resource to their desired amount or even stop troop upkeep altogether (however this feature is rarely utilized as it immediatly garners the attention of Evony staff).
I am certain that there are other features which I am not aware of. I have reported my findings to Evony. I have provided tons of evidence such as scout reports, text of conversations, and even screen shots of my alliance chat when Maq was explaining to another player, who was also familiar to computer code, how he managed to hack the system. Yet through months of constant complaints and submission of valid proof, evony has not taken action. I suspect it's because Maq spends $$$$ on teleporters
P.S. In my next post I will speak on multi-accounting.
