Thread: Ammies you buy vs. ammies you get as gifts

Sigh.. as a former wannabe programmer I have this observation:

    1) notice that IF you win coins, the coin total appears BEFORE the spin begins.

That leads this former wannabee programmer to believe that the same is true for EVERY item won on the wheel

So here is my conclusion, based on systems analysis and logig and former wannabee programmer logic. The process is this:

    1) random generator seeded
    2) wheel prize table populated
    3) prize chosen based on table contents and random seed
    4) dog and pony show of the spinning wheel occurs
    5) player does whatever superstitious behaviour s/he engages in to try to influnce spin, even though it does no good because the outcome has already been determined
    6) prize awarded
    7) depending upon outcome, player whines or rejoices

Items 1 and 2 may be reversed in programmer logic.

The machine controls ALL. there is NOTHING but the machine. players can do NOTHING to influence the outcome.

However....I was also using this same theory for some time - annoyed at the outcome frequently and it seems that just re-clicking on a "one-at-a-time" spin is more generous.

personally, i save my ammies up.
i usually dont spin them till i accumulate about 50, sometimes 100.
the last time i cashed them in i got an uber hero from helm of lancelot or w/e the highest helm is. and like 10 horse rein packs,
along with 50 holy waters and other goodies,
its only when i spin just one do i get the crap rewards.
i am theorizing that there are certain times of the day when the gifts given out are better. tho i have no proof as of yet.

    hahaha at programmer comment
I would choose to "auto" disable trade reports whilst online.
Am asking Santa to create a pop-up/minimise separate "WHISPER" window that allows "instant" group chat - without having to click name, and select whisper EACH time I post.

yeah, we all seen that happen. shame there's not a way to emergency stop the spin when we realise we not getting coins. HAHAHAHA. (and yes, i realise its an absurd suggestion.lol)
