about 85 wpm
Just thought this would be interesting for this thread:
Mrs. Barbara Blackburn of Salem, Oregon, the fastest English language typist in the world, can maintain 150 wpm for 50 min (37,500 key strokes) and attains a speed of 170 wpm using the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard (DSK) system. Her top speed was recorded at 212 wpm.
Source: Norris McWhirter, ed. (1985), THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS, 23rd US edition, New York: Sterling Publishing Co., Inc.
Barbara Blackburn failed her typing class at school, using a qwerty keyboard. An average professional typist can turn out 70 - 90 wpm, and 'hunt and peckers' can get up towards 30 wpm.
Mine is 50 wpm give or take 5. (Copying out stuff.) I don't know how everyone types so fast. I always waste time fixing my mistakes.

Not many people would bother learning DSK though after all their years using QWERTY. It would further hinder their speed for the time it would take to fully learn it.
