At last check nearly 3 years ago, my avg was 87...100% I'm fairly positive it has increased substantially since then.

My AWPM (Adjusted Words Per Minute for errors and such) is about 55-60 when it comes to copying text. When typing my own text not accounting for errors I can clock in about 60-65 with a few mistakes here and there depending on the length of what I'm typing. Adjusted for errors it goes back to the 55-60.

Granted that's when I'm typing non-stop, I have the attention span of a goldfish and will often stop typing after a few sentences to do something else then come back later. Usually anything with more than a paragraph from me are split into 10 different periods of typing.

Or they are adults with a typical office job, in which a certain WPM is required... and so is sitting infront of the computer all day.

I dont know what my WPM is :P
But I do know I type in a way that those certain adults working in offices would shun!
