Hey! I hate my life. I'm a huge tool. Have fun being hot
Some people would suggest a medical interpretation involving the anatomical juxtaposition of an eighteen-wheeler. I, of course, would never be so crude as to attempt third-grade humor in the O.T.
Semicolons rule; grammarians shudder.
Think of this punctuation mark as your friend; it is at once the shortest conjunction and the wink of a, an attenuated comma and a periodic pileup. Semicolons are underused; they could hardly be otherwise.
And yet, as brevity is the soul of wit, the semicolon is its antithesis; brevity, by definition, cannot be found in a run-on sentence. As such, tl;dr, while an appropriate use of the mark, can hardly be seen to be an intellectual advance in a conversation.
"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment." -Francis Urquhart
Uhm... I wonder... Will any of this apply in REAL life?? If i typed a letter to a customer and used a semi colon they would be like "dood, whatever" and thats just the nice guys...

It depends on the crowd you are dealing with. Many companies will actually catch you on that when you use a cover letter, for instance. Other more "pretentious" customer's will not take you seriously if your grammar isn't pristine. It's silly but it does depend on the customers/employers you are trying to cater to. But you're right, most people don't care.
Nice! lol
The era of using correct language and grammar is over. We r bein ovrun by ppl who cnt spel or ryt 2 sav thr livs. Its sad. I weep for the youth of today.
