I personaly myself, would much rather be told i am beautiful when i am in my natural skin then when i am hidden behind the falseness of makeup.

I used to have a complex and refused to go out in public with out make up on, would have panic attacks if i ever did. I am glad that i am past that phase and that i am happy in my own skin, however, i do still wear makeup, i can still go with out, and know i look good.
I agree with everything you have said.
It has become political correct for women to wear makeup in public. In high school i remember when i didnt wear makeup somedays all the other women commented on it. Usually snide remarks. We get so caught up in material beauty and always looking our best for other people.

A truly beautiful person possesses a superior and lofty intellect and harbors a noble and virtuous soul as opposed to the external guise of the person or the composition of the body.

True beauty is incorporeal and immaterial and it is embodied by the soul, human reason and rationality, and the human intellect.

Personally, I don't wear make up at all. Why?

    A) it costs a fortune to buy, and honestly, I don't eant to spend money on something like that, something that in all actuality is not needed at all
    B) if I ever showed up at school in makeup, I would would get talked about more than I would like to imagine, as all my life I've been a jockette. I would be considered a poser, which so isn't cool
    C) I'd rather not be looked at as fake. I hate fake.
    D) I've seen too many other girls that go overboard and look like they're trying to be America's Next Top Model, which looks kore tacky than anything.

I honestly beleive most people look better without makeup anyways. I I do happen to ever want to wear makeup (which I admit, is a possibility), it would consist of nothing more than eyeliner, mascara, and maybe a faint bit of colour. Anything more is over dose, and overdosing on anything is not good.

I don't know why I'm posting here. This thread is sort of trashy and slightly misogynistic.

Anyway, a little makeup is good, so a lot of makeup must be even better, right?
