First off, there is no way it's better than rugby. There is no padding or helmets in rugby but there is in American football. You can't say this is because of the hits since they are just as hard if not harder. I can find some videos clearly showing this if you want. Therefore, rugby players are tougher. Secondly, American football stops every couple of seconds because that's generally how long plays last. Rugby is continuous except for lineouts, scrums etc.
I don't disagree that soccer players are extremely soft but I'm just saying that I've seen videos where players have died playing soccer.
Who made America great? The Europeans. If they hadn't discovered it and emigrated over it would not be what it is today.
Hurling players need to be much tougher and hurling is the fastest field game in the world.
