Thread: Human Cruelty

  1. #1

    Default Human Cruelty

Everyday when i walk home from school i see a fight not a regular fight back in the days these fights include the person jumping on the other persons face when their done beating the crap out of them.

One time i even saw a person take a crap on another persons face when he senselessly knocked him unconcious, So let me ask you this why are we doing this? Do we know are actions are corrupting the world like the bloods and crips? When will we stop?

The maker of the Crips ( a insane gang with over 1 million followers) said he wouldnt make this the ''Crips'' if he knew this was gonna happen.

So let me ask you this why are we abusing our own kind and animals and if we contiune we will corrupt and fall

I think people fight others because they want to be popular or show their dominance or strength.

I do not think fighting will ever stop. IMO there will just be more and more fighting until we all kill each other

Dominace and strength should be shown by sinserity and the ability to SURVIVE, not attacking people for no reason.

There aren't strong enough repercussions from authority figures for cruelty. Whether it's physical violence or just crass behavior. People act like an ass because they can get away with it.

I don't just mean police, I mean ALL authority figures. It starts with the parents. It includes teachers, police, and many others. It includes the common passerby that witnesses the act. Maybe they can't intervene, but they can certainly report it. Women in major cities are taught to yell "FIRE!!!" instead of "RAPE!" because people will come look at a fire out of curiosity. But, they may ignore cries for help to avoid getting involved in trouble.

We all help create the world we live in. If you don't want someone to be able to beat up another, and crap on their face, then get the police to arrest him and charge him with assault. There needs to be REAL repercussions for cruel behavior, or it WILL be repeated.

I wont get god involved with this, put I would kinda classify this as human nature. It certainly isent too much of a common occurrence, but as long as there are two people on earth, eventually one will want to kill the other. It kinda brings into the topic of world peace, is it possible to accomplish? Its definitely possible, the question is only when.

Human beings have not evolved physically since the times of cavemen. Civilization is a thin veneer of learned behaviour and a social contract that is overlayed upon our basic caveman nature. Civilization, as a social contract, relies upon the co-operation of the majority of the members of that society to willingly behave in certain ways. To convince the members of a society to do this, they need to be well educated in certain ways from the time of their birth as to what is required of them and the repercussions of failing to do so.

In the 20th century we witnessed the breakdown of the rules of civilized behaviour due to many reasons. These include the general "dumbing down" of large sections of the population due to lower general standards of education, a lack of parental guidance due to increased percieved pressure for both parents to work as many hours as possible out of the home and the ever-increasing portrayals of violence as an acceptable way to solve problems and a natural state of existance by the popular media and our political leaders.

Violence is portrayed as not only acceptable but also as cool and sexy in many instances. As parents are no longer present in the home to raise their children well, or if they are present, too lazy or tired to put in the effort, children have been raised by and influenced by the media (namely television but more recently the internet). Those who pay for the programming on television have gone so far as to dumb down the quality of the programming and purposely sought to instill a sense of violence as the natural state of affairs. They do so to isolate individuals in fear, so that instead of a community we now have a lot of indivduals isolated in fear from each other so that they have little meaningful contact with the wider community and are instead focused on the messages that the media chooses to give them. That main message is that you must consume more and more to be seen as succesful and that only fulfillment of material desires can lead to happiness. We are all victims of a massive brainwashing campaign to turn us from human beings into consumers. Isolated individuals consume far more, as a real community would share resources among all of it's members based on need and educate it's members on the need for restraint.

If you look at the acts of violence and where they occur, you will find that it is mostly in areas of lower education and socio-economic standing. That is because the poorly educated are not being taught the tools required to resolve conflict in non-violent ways. The military has been aware of this for centuries. Officers are usually well educated and trained in a totally different manner from the grunts (the sound a caveman makes) who do the actual fighting.

Violence is increasing because we no longer know how to behave toward each other, especially in regard to disputes, without resorting to the implanted violent solution (which is no solution at all). As I have previously stated in other places, I believe this society is now in it's final days and is on a downward spiral of decadence and violence into self-destruction. I accept that now, so I can only say bring it on.
