Basic business 101 would involve a notification PRIOR to a major change in any status, again unless they WANTED to screw some people over.

IF they didn't want massive armies, they should have put limits on your army sizes, just like they did put limits on wall spaces, etc. and how much food you can farm, etc.

They didn't put enough checks/balances into the game to start, and apparently, lack the management skills to steer their ship properly.

Silently nerfing a game that is already impossible to attack high level guys just points to all BAD BAD BAD. It's not that I hate making it harder to attack NPC's, it's the focus/manner of how things are getting done, and what the END result will be.

YOU CAN'T even justify this as an END result is good, so whatever it takes approach is ok, because the END result is going to be worse for right now, and the method chosen to try to get to these ENDS was 100% wrong. A major silent patch is 100% wrong even if you like the change.

And, don't mis-read my post as a guy complaining about losing balistas to NPC nerf. I did NOT lose mine to the patch. I lost mine prior in an attempt to actually PLAY the game. And, I don't mind losing them. I'm not crying about it. I'm point out that you can't actually play the game very much.

IF I, with all those troops (can't send a bigger attack unit than I sent), and hero attack was over 200, cannot attack another high level player, WHY is anybody playing if the end intent is WAR and you can't WAR?

And yeah, the honor system is completely worthless and does also ruin the whole attacking rating system. Another point that there are things so broken, way ahead of NPC issues, that to silently nerf this and kill half your customer base (maybe more), has to be treated as moronic.
