I understand the desire to balance the game. Lot's of people make suggestions that empower players more. But, they don't realize that any way you strengthen attack mechanics, will only strengthen those big players even more. The scales won't become more balanced, they will tip even more toward the strong players.

thats because big players have more SKILL at building. probably pay more than your average player. and have fun. its not so much balance as it is keeping big players happy so they keep paying

there will be no skill in attacking or defending, only that who has the most troops for that attack or defence wins basically. so the only skill will be who can sleep the least in order to farm the most to keep the biggest army

and you are saying the player shouldnt be rewarded for his efforts? hardcore gamers need hardcore rewards, if they dont they stop playing and paying
