    I loaded 300k archers, 10k cav, 10k pike, 10k sword in my attack city.
    I sent 1 wave of 1k cav, 1k sword, 1k pike, 97k archers with my queen.
    After the wave landed I was able to recover 67,900 archers, 700 cav, 700 pike, 700 sword from my medic camp.
    This makes my total troops lost 29,100 archers, 300 cav, 300 pike, 300 sword.
    This means I was able to send a total of EIGHT 97k archer/1k cav/1k sword/1k pike waves to Atlantis.
    In total the number of troops I lost were 238k archers, 3.3k cav, 3.3k pike, 3.3k sword. In return I was able to wipe 2,762 traps, 1,271 abatis, 499 rolling logs, 381 Defense Trebs and 350,699 pike in Atlantis. Not a bad trade at all.
    I would encourage others to feel free to attack Atlantis at will. It's fun!!
    Although You didn't actually win I'd give you a pat on the back some dont even have balls to mess with atlantis once player owned ... also it does seem he gained 100k more archers in your final scout report

    I am not a Evony nerdoholic like most of you regular posters. I just battle and learn and have fun. So I don't split hairs on technical terms. By compact defense I mean a city that has lots and lots of troops packed into it with full walls. Get it? Compact-Defense. It does not have to mean what you think it means. It's like, a Phract smack is 120k Phract, not 95k!!! OMG, where have you been???
    Trivial.... now watch someone argue what a phract smack is.... lol.
    Stop slitting hairs kids. Compact means compact. Defense means defense. Put the two together and you get Compact Defense which equals lots of troops and defenses concentrated in one place... called Atlantis.

    Thanks, it was fun to have that little skirmish. I wish more players would do the same. It makes the game fun. Maybe players who complain about "dead" servers will realize from my posts that "dead" is what you make it. There is plenty of opportunity on have fun battles on old servers. And once Atlantis is taken the fun just begins. C'mon guys, let's get to it and have some fun!!!

    Now unless Evony has some official document that explains terms and definitions in detail, then it is up to the individual to interpret terms as they see fit. So what makes what some poster said more "official" than what I have to say? Nothing. That is their opinion, this is mine. Big deal. They are not the authority, nor am I. So I can say what I want and mean what I say.

    It's not just their opinion, it's almost EVERY player's opinion.

    There's two terms for defense. 5k and CD. They have these names for a reason.

    You can't justify taking a wide spread term, screwing it, and then saying "Oh it's just one guy's opinion so I'll just call it whatever I want and stay ignorant."

    It's almost like saying a cav smack that has no ranged layers is a JAQ atk.

    Yea, but a blista shoots an extremely large arrow.

    It's more like saying a cav and phract is the same thing.

    How can you say old Age II servers are great because you can focus on historicals? To my knowledge, you don't own one because you're too afraid of losing it.

    Resources should be fairly inconsequential at this stage in the game, and especially in the low numbers reported here. Time is a bigger factor, but he doesn't have to build anything except the wall forts in sequence. 238k archers x 2.34 is the time equivalent of 556k Pikes.

    Also, part of the point of the honor system is to measure exactly who is winning the resource battle, since the equation for who gains/loses honor is based on the resource value of the units sent.
