...Recruit a hero with a high intelligence rating and use this hero for scouting. You will need 3 heroes for 1 city and 1 hero each for every city after that. 1 hero is the castellan (per city), 1 hero is for attacking, and 1 hero is for scouting.

You will definitely need more heroes than that. If a town only has one hero (as Castellan) how is it to launch missions?

This is mainly to do with forges, but can also apply to other buildings.

Where do I find the REQUIREMENT for building a forge. I try to build one and it just says I do not have the requirements to build one. Pretty damn useless message really. It would be nice to be informed at that point what I need to make a forge. Otherwise, I could just build willy nilly and waste valuable resources on crap I do not need.

Haven't built a forge for a while. If I remember correctly you need a level 3 iron mine. The requirements for a new building or upgrade are always listed when you hover over the build/upgrade button.

Hmmm...I was about to say it was not saying anything when I hovered over the image of the forge....if I click that, it gives me the none descript message. But I had noticed if I hover over the build button below the image, it does indeed inform me of the minimum requirement.

Thanks for the heads up on an otherwise not so clear concept.
