Well, for all it's worth, crossing over into a different dimension is not only not feasible, but also impossible to survive.
As three-dimensional beings, we cannot cross into a strictly physical four-dimensional plane. We would not survive, as we don't possess the fourth-dimensional "quality" that fourth-dimenional things have.
We cannot cross into a two-dimensional universe. We would be totally flat, and nothing except inert and massless objects can withstand the transition from three to two dimensions.
We cannot even exist in a one-dimensional universe, for the same reason.
The no-dimensional universe is the Void. Nothing can exist there.
--------------
Let's take it a step higher. If we were fourth-dimensional beings, we would die crossing into the third dimension because we would lose EVERYTHING in or on us that relates to the fourth dimenion. That quality is tied into EVERYTHING. We would die.
The same thing I said earlier is true about the fifth dimension. It's like having Charlie Brown crossing over into our dimension. Do you think that Charlie Brown can exist in our world? No, because infinitely flat objects only exist in our minds, in this dimension...
That is all. You can think about the rest.
