With that said I'll get OT. Maintaining and raising an army in Age 2 is not difficult at all, considering troops can't refugee it's not even a big deal if by for some magical reason you run out of food... just buy some and farm real quick.

Another the city has 250 mil lumber and Iron.... But it is stuck cause I can not even levy it with my HC's

We want to plunder others..... Who really cares about capping someone when HC's are around but atleast let us take All their food, Lumber, iron, gold and arghhhh stone just for something to do
I verify this info. I have 10 fully built lvl 10 cities sitting in Na4 as I have moved onto na26. 4 iron and wood cities and 2 food cities. You would not believe the amounts of iron and wood they produce in a week. However I do stop in every Friday and sell off so my buddy can tax them from his 14. His biggest payday........3.6bil gold from one city. If he could levy resources he would never ever have to farm again. Either way if the attack button was introduced I would happily go back to na4. That would be like a shot of adrenaline into the old servers. Taking away the enemies ability to produce is what wins wars not leaching off of them as you can colonize a city with 8 mil troops if the gates are closed but who wants to be around for the suppression battle? Na26 is decent with the attack button but I'm still an age 1 fan. Like I always say hook age 1 to fb.....that would be the money maker. The biggest age 1 arguement? Farming. Age2 comes along....no farming but pretty much a completely different game. Evony may say that they listen to how to make the game better I just wish they would hear what those of us who have played an embarrassingly long time were saying. Na26 is my 3rd server. Age 1 server 35 now ss5, na4 which is all but dead, and now na26.

Sorry for the rant and ramble.

All true, All true. However age 2 offers much more than age 1. Historic cities & heroes, not to mention the useful gearing system.

    Default Age 2 Server resets

I'm seeing afew of the issues i came to check on in this thread so i'll respond here. Been hearing rumors of mergers on age 2 but as others have said with HC's and HH's that's nearly impossible. i am also pretty sure that older servers are getting stagnant and boring...I've put funds into my current server not as much as most but some and lot of time so i hate to leave to start a new server because mine may start to get a bit dull. So my idea is this...What about instead of new servers, there are server resets with something in place to compensate players for what they are losing with the reset? rough thoughts x amount of coins per/million prestige? X% of coins that they have bought inthe past on the server?....This solves 2 issue..players get more activity by starting a reduced rate server. Evony makes money because it will still get the coin purchase rush of a new server. Sure something could be worked out to make the few thousand bored people on a server willing to support their stagnant server being reset.

if they reset the server, i would never play on it again

impossible to compensate ppl for the time & effort involved in capping major HCs

Yeah, Evony would never reset a server-- they'd be killing it off completely.

That's why they come out with new servers...if you don't want to leave you current server, then good luck to you.

Adding plunder (of regular cities) to the older AgeII servers seems like a good solution between those calling for the attack button and those who want it to stay the way it is.

(I would prefer the attack button for the record)

However, being allowed to plunder their cities would prevent people from closing their gates to avoid losing troops in a war, moving their troops to valleys/allies to avoid being drafted and piling up loads of wood/iron to prevent being levied.
This way there would at least be some repercussions to not defending your city. They would still get to keep the cities but they would have to leave it undefended with some risk.

It's the star system and constant farming for gems that has me sick of Evony. No farming they say? ha, you have to farm more than ever on AgeII if you want to stay competitive whatsoever. Nevermind food, you'll get all the food you need with your gem farming.

On my server within 2 months after opening we had a guy reach star set 15. Several others in his alliance also had high level star sets with 600+ attack within this time frame. I've watched them take most of the other top 10 alliances down overnight. I'd see the war declarations one day, and the next day that alliance was no more. This server is still somewhat new but I consider the game already won.

I'll probably quit Evony entirely when they decide to go after me and I wake up to find only one city left.

Hardly a chance to compete with them. It'll take me months of non-stop gem farming just to try and catch up and that's if I get lucky.
