Yes, it's from experience. Lost 10% ballista to lvl 6 barb town, 100% to lvl 7 and above. So since a lvl 6 barb town has lvl 6 wall and archery, I can say that lvl 6 defenses will be good enough to fight off most players. Lvl 7 and you are basically done for defense.

I have lvl 10 archery and using 100+ att hero.

So you're saying its still a birthing process, and I can totally understand that. Just because a game it out of beta, doesn't mean the changes stop. In fact, more may come frequently and hopefully on a timetable. This game is still new. Evony is posting towards us looking for employment positions.

There was another thread that summed up people's anger nicely. It's passion. So that in itself can tell of the success of the game. We just need to guide our passions a little bit more constructively.

As far as the game goes Kempion has some really great points. As far as
bugs and glitches some are affected more than others, true, but there
hasn't been enough loss/downtime to make me personally want to quit. And
they are continuously adding to the game and trying to fix what happens
over time. Looking through code is really really time consuming and difficult
the more advanced the code is. Not to mention server-end issues and

they expected as much draw as they got so they are trying to

they are obviously working on things.

Ok im not gunna flame you or anything cuz i have been a mod in other games and i know wut mods do and dont do and what they dont get (which is special treatment). My only problem is they nerf the npc's to stop massive armies, but now those armies are needed to take out defenses? honestly what are they trying to do to fix the game? Seems to me like they are restricting the armies more and more and idk about anyone else but if its impossible to take out a player thanks the massive over power of defenses and the npc nerf, then its not fun. Its a game about war the roman empire never looked around and said "hmm... well my rally spot is small... so i will only send 50k troops out!" I understand the defense patch but then take off the npc nerf to balance it out. all they are doin is making the game unbalanced.

Im by far no master thinker, but my thoughts on a business decision, lol, its an attempt to gain more money, you cant possibly believe that they didnt expect the amount of players they have,bs,they certainly did expect this, they advertised "FREE" ong,put up a "free" sign at wal-mart,what would YOU expect to see? a HUGE MOB of people tryin to get at the "Free" and if they truely didnt, then the guy making the business decisions for them needs to be fired, wait, they dont wanna do that, its all about money, yet again,if they are so broke they cant afford devs than can manage this game, then they shouldnt be building new servers, creating more work, and risking losing more players,i dunno, bottom line ive lost all interest in this game, cant wait for Aeon to come out,ive played NCSoft games for 7 years, those guys ROCK,thats how you keep people for a long time, check out L2 and Aeon, learn from them,or go into a new business

This is the internet. Check your email. Check every advertisement with "FREE" in it. You should know by now FREE always has a catch. FREE comes with shipping and handling, comes with buying something first, comes with quid pro quo. Don't blame this company, blame the world of marketing.

woah,I just did the math, current number of players, current number of servers, started with only one, that means they only expected 50k people to play from the ENTIRE USA only??? im not even gonna say it.......
