Vista was the ******* child OS when it was released (and sort of still is). It was full of bugs, wasn't all that much of a performance improvement, and just mainly offered some new bells and whistles. Isn't that really kind of like what Age2 does?
Hm, XP and Vista are basically the same. They are both Windows. The only difference that I can see between the two is graphical and new window layout. Nothing really that different.
But Age II really does have some very very different features than Age I.
For example, how leadership effects a battle is way different than Age I, some have said it is nearly the opposite. No more building NPC's. Cannot take normal player cities, only historicals. Cap on hero levels. Sending rainbows with 1 of each layer does not work anymore. Can draft troops, use policies, Strategems, Etc.... lots and lots of things that are very different from Age I, not just a facelift. All in all Age II is a very different game. Different strategy, different code, just different. Yes, some things are similar to Age I. But overall Age II is a different animal.
