Thread: Notice on In-Game Changes

    Default miscommunication

    As a player who has taken a lvl 10 npc, I still see these changes as game ending now. The disparity between the haves and have nots is exemplified even further by this heavy duty nerfing. I have been posting after the last few changes that there needs to be more notice to players. Send an in game mail? or is the cost of the speakers needed to generate this in game main too much for the developers to afford?

    At least we now have a promise now that the next changes will be notified to players... what about all the paying players who have lost all of their stuff due to a change that was not at all clearly explained or even barely alluded to. (last patch notice said that log rolls and rock falls would have improved effectiveness). I thought the patch was already implemented 4 days ago, however, we all found out that it is not. I guess all i have left to do is slaughter any innocent noob in my area like everyone else to relinquish my armies. Maybe i can rack up some good honor before i quit. I apologize for my excessive ranting and raving but it does not come unprovoked.

    There is no such thing as a perfect fix. The reason being any fix to benefit new players will be amplified for older players. Likewise, any fix made in regard to aiding older players will be minimized on newer players.

    Balance, while an admirable goal, is impossible. Tan90, baby.

    This is why I agree with balancing in favor of newer players because they are the future of the game. Older players will eventually move on. It's simply good business to support new players as much as possible.

    Hmm ok so lets see max send army is 125k if we use ballanced against someones town that has lvl 10 walls with max defence unlimited troops and Embassy reinforcments that sounds about making it a challenge that you can never win Farewell evony... Balance? pft i see Evony screwing ppl over of MANY hours of work to get mroe cash from speed ups

    I agree on this point fully. If the old players are so massively overpowered the new players don't have a chance then it's going to die anyway. I'm not saying that the "fix" was right or that it did what it intended, but that the point of it was good. The execution, maybe not so much- we shall see how it plays out.

    there is no balanced army to take on a player now turtled up behind full walls, and with gates open. the econimic losses involved would far outwiegh the possible plunder gained (shipping it all out to 2nd base while march is on route?). I lost 3K catapults on a lvl 10 NPC last night? with mass excess of catapults(20K) and a 230atk hero. the measily 20M mill I gained comes nowhere near the cost of 3K catapults. balanced army does not exist. a defensive game of small armies is now going to happen. the first one to atack another player will lose now.

    I already captured a lvl 10 base for my own, the farms it gives are great, but do nothing to provide enough food for my armies. I don't have a roaming pack of ballista/xprters, I have 100's of thousands of archers, pikemen, swords, warriors. over 100K calvary, alot of cataphracts. my armies will starve and will have wasted weeks of building for nothing. I already have a balanced army, guess what, they still die with econimical loss as overall outcome. there is no balance! try to spend 6hrs a day in game instead of the forums and you will know what I am talking about. edit your signature some more.

    Since when In history has a commander ordered his catapult to park underneath enemy walls where they can drop rocks on them? Age 2: Age of non atacking and ppl quitting.

    If we can now use catapults the way we used ballista... how has anything been fixed? its simply shifted from one thing to another and we'll soon be whining when they nerf the catapults???
