It's fact that this thread is discussing b0t use in Evony...
And these threads are supposed to be banned...

This is a thread commenting on the actions against botters, not on the use of bots, there is a subtle difference.

It's like the thread Rota made a while ago about the possible repercussions for botters that wouldn't make them quit, and make them likely to keep playing (and spending) but stop them botting.

If my computer breaks, and I get a new computer, and I then talk about that new computer. I'm not talking about the old computer breaking, am I?

Yes but so many players who did play the game honestly for months and months only to see nothing happen about those who cheated eventually decided that evony didnt care about cheaters so they decided to cheat themselves like i said they should get rid of multiple accounts but they should realize that there own lack of action over the past 2 years has led to this situation and give people a chance to reset there alt accounts b4 banning over half the people that play this game

The same kind of logic was employed by people who were caught up in the previous bot bans.

Look, it comes down to integrity. I wanted to be a success in the game, and I knew that people were doing things to gain an advantage, but I didn't "join em"...

There comes a time when people need to take responsibility and not try to say that "everyone else was doing it"...

How about a direct response to that instead of trying to flame me up because I pointed out that it does discuss the use of b0ts.

a) It does discuss b0t usage
b) Foxy and Dawnseeker posted ages ago that these threads would be closed (as well as some head guy but I forget his name).
c) Am an old denizen of these forums so telling me to 'learn to forum' (check!)and 'reading the forum rules' (check!) is redundant. Have done so. And am damn sure that this thread is still against Evony wishes.
d) And just maybe they haven't found it yet?

They could also keep a much large profit margin by letting people reset there alt accounts rather then banning every and all accounts, IF they where to Ban everybody who has ever had 2 accounts made Noobs watched somebody's account over the weekend well said person went on vacation they would be left with a fraction of the active players,
They would have to probably merge 10-20 servers at the same time and what would that leave 10-20 servers worth of in-actives a handful of actives that cant even build barb farms because of all the dead accounts and the game would stop making profit.

Lets be honest what do the care about the player or the bottom line?

Discussing the punishment of cheaters is not against the rules. Discussing how much you dislike botting is not against the rules. Discussing the general negative impact cheating has on the community of Evony gamers is not against the rules.

Discussing botting in a way that endorses is not okay. Discussing botting an manner that teaches people how to do it, is not okay (even if you do so while talking about how much you hat botters).

Accusing specific people or groups of cheating in any way is not okay. But, you can discuss cheating in general terms with no specific accusations. Just avoid collaterally teaching people how to cheat through the course of the conversation.

They could also keep a much larger profit margin by letting people keep their botting account(s) rather than banning every and all accounts...

See how that same logic could be applied?

Prior to the advent of Holiday, I could see a potential issue there, but with Holiday, "a weekend" can be done with Holiday for a minimal cost (2 USD). If you don't have the money, then you simply ask your alliance to reinforce you if it is needed.

Giving away your account information (account-sharing) is a slap in the face to not only the company, but also to those of us who play honestly. I am the only person that has my login information. If my alliance doesn't help me if I get attacked and in trouble while I'm not around, then maybe that alliance wasn't a good fit for me...

Now, if you were talking longer than "a weekend", like a week or more, then the company has said that they allow an account-sitter. I was asked to do that for someone nearly a year ago. I told him up front that I did not intend on maintaining two accounts, but it was his busy time at work, and he had to be away, but he said he'd be back. I haven't heard from him at all the whole time. After about 3 months, it became clear he wasn't coming back, but I didn't feel I had the right to completely wipe out all of his heroes via a restart game, so I consolodated everything down to his 2 best politics heroes and his 8 best attack heroes, moved them into one city, and abandoned the rest. I don't farm from there. I generally don't even sign into the account. I've debated hitting restart, because he could be dead for all I know, but it's but 1 city with 10 heroes that's not being used to supplement anyone, so I don't see the real harm in letting it sit.

Do you see the difference in those two scenarios? Do you understand that you're approaching advocating the first (rampant account-sharing to be used for times when people are away at work, school, off for a weekend getaway, sleeping, etc...)?

If you don't have the time to play, then you shouldn't play. It's not fair to those of us who play honestly.
