Awesome and Shii have been going back and forth for a few pages now.
I'm still not completely sure what the argument is about. But, they sure are headstrong about their respective points of view.

I think Age 1 vs Age 2 has been discussed in many threads. My thoughts on the subject are in those threads.
This thread just asked who has the largest army? Age 1 players or Age 2 players?
The thread is about numbers for Age 1 players, playing in Age 1, compared to numbers for Age 2 players, playing in Age 2 servers. There's no crossing over of the players or servers. There's no combat between the two. It's a simple matter of counting the most troops in a current Age 1 city, compared to the largest troop count in a current Age 2 city. It has nothing to do with Age 1 players in Age 2 servers, or Age 2 players in Age 1 servers.
I think awesomeness is saying it depends on what system the place they fought would follow. If they fought on a age 1 system then the army of age 2 players would refuge within seconds because most cities are 0 food and negative a couple mil production, while the age 1 players have less standing troops they have large lvl10 fields and organized systems for farming them. If the battle took place in age 2 then the age 1 players with insta troop heroes and billions of lumber and iron lying around would quickly pump out the largest army age 2 has ever seen.
OP asked...
Age 1 player with the biggest army right now?
Age 2 player with the biggest army right now?
Which number is bigger?
The question isn't about crossing servers, or fighting between the ages. There are MANY other thread discussing the mechanics of how certain Age players would fight on the servers of the other Age. Discuss combat between the ages in those threads.![]()
yea Age II can have bigger armies but also they are more easy to take out if you are not careful enough to set colonies to 0% 1 125k layered archer wave could take out 1mill of you troops. And to the food "glitch" Evony made it this way remember no farming required announcements.
A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."
The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

A forum and an OP meet at the start of a thread and the forum asks the OP to allow him join in the discussion. The OP asks, "How do I know you won't derail me?" The forum says, "Because I like this subject, I have no desire to talk of other things."
The OP is satisfied, and they begin a pleasant discourse. But after a page or two, the forum mentions something that has nothing to do with OP. The OP feels the onset of derailment and starts to veer of track. Knowing they both will go off on this tangent, the OP has just enough time to gasp "Why?"
Why do threads derail?
