Six tall glasses stand in a row on the bar in front of you. The first three are full of beer; the second three you've just emptied in the most compendious manner possible: you've consumed the beer. Now, arrange them so the empty and the full glasses alternate by moving as few glasses as possible.

Best answer I've seen to my riddle was one - pouring the contents of glass 2 into glass 5. But others may disagree. (They'll be wrong, but I won't try to stop them... *haughty snif*)
