I've read the books the show is based off of, so I don't really need to. Plus, only certain vampires kill humans. Most of them take enough to get by from several sources.

Anyway...my point is is that they would be smart enough to figure out another solution to their food crisis.

@bole In my view and experience it is not that the educational system is underfunded. It is the quality of teachers and the curriculum. To say that it is the teachers fault would be wrong too. To do will in school it has to start at home with the parents. The values and morals they put on there kid. Whether they are alowed to slack off at home or not. Enviroment is a major problem but no amount of printing money is going to change that. It has to be focused on more then just the school itself.

Prisons do not generate revenue. The redirect fund from tax payers to corporations or departments responsible for providing the incarceration service.

Lol ...

Ignorant implies a lack of knowledge. This may be slightly true as I do not have knowledge of exactly how much revenue is generated by our tax money. I do kno two things however:

1. I said prisons do not generate revenue. This is true, prisons are NOT profit centers to the American government. They may be profit centers to private companies contracting the service, but they are not profit centers at the top line.

2. The American government is operating in a deficit. Deficit means a net negative revenue stream - we are borrowing money to meet our obligation. Therefore it doesn't matter that the government might generate some revenue from our tax dollars, the reality is that we are still operating at a net loss or net negative revenue.
