Please, for the love of Pete, can we get back to the other portion of this thread?

I'm not in an area where I can do compost, and I try to recycle and reuse as much as I can, but I know I'm not perfect. Anyone else have anything to add to the "What can a single person do to help out their world?" part of this discussion?

Like, how can we help children, each other, elderly?
